Road Trip

Since basketball season is winding down--I only have one women's game left Saturday night and probably one Big South Conference tournament game on Tuesday, it must be time for a road trip. So, in my strictly business fashion, I'll take out my trusty Wheel of Fortune wheel with its Vanna White blow up doll and give it a big spin. Round and round it goes, stopping on .........Richmond International Raceway. That's right folks. Back to Richmond March 2, 3, and 4 for a huge Home and Garden Show. My man in Richmond tells me this is one of their largest shows of the year. The show is so big that the promoters will actually be busing 40,000 people from one side of RIR to the other dropping them off right in front of Big Red. At first I thought Peggy wouldn't be going on this trip since she was supposed to have a baby that weekend. . . . .or was it a baby shower that weekend. . . . . something to do with a baby. But when she found out that Tank and I would be let loose on Richmond night life, she quickly told the baby to wait. Or will go to the next shower. Something. So Big Red will have its normal crew. I might still get Tank or one of the boys to come to Richmond anyway cause we might need a bathroom break sometime that weekend. We'll see. The other bit of news is that the powers that be at Liberty want me to do some women's softball games because: 1. The field is located right in the middle of several dorms, and 2. There are no other concessions folks there. So that might be a pretty good shot for spring. I looked at their schedule and these girls are basically gone for about six weeks including three weeks in Hawaii. I wonder if they travel with tutors. Cause they must miss a lot of classes. Maybe they need Big Red in Hawaii. What a road trip that would be!
